Built on Honest Work and Real Expertise
DM Electric Solutions was founded on a simple idea: do the job right, treat people fairly, and stand behind your work.
Our Story
DM Electric Solutions was started right here in Columbia, SC by Omar Manilla who grew up in the Midlands and wanted to build something local families could count on. After years working for larger contractors, we saw too many homeowners getting overcharged, underserved, or left with work that didn't pass inspection.
We started small — one truck, one crew, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Today we serve hundreds of homeowners across Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, Chapin, and the surrounding communities. Every job we take on gets the same attention to detail, whether it's a single outlet or a full-home rewire.
We're not the biggest electrical company in the Midlands. We're the one that shows up on time, explains what we're doing, and doesn't leave until the job is done right.
What Sets Us Apart
Honest Pricing
We give you a clear estimate before any work starts. No surprise charges, no upselling work you don't need.
Quality Workmanship
We use quality materials and follow code on every job. Our work is built to last — not just to pass a quick inspection.
Respect for Your Home
We show up on time, keep job sites clean, and treat your home with the same care we'd give our own.
Clear Communication
We explain what we find, what we recommend, and why — in plain language, not electrical jargon.
Licensed, Insured & Code-Compliant
Every job we perform is done by a licensed South Carolina electrician, pulled with the proper permits, and inspected to current NEC and SC code standards. We carry full general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage on every project.
